ECHO POWER GENETICS BULL SELECTION PROCESS

• We start with approximately 300 bull calves.

• Top 150 bulls identified using the following parameters: Dams overall performance index, bulls weaning performance: wean weight, WPDA: post weaning ADG, scrotal circumferenc, disposition, polled, confirmation(feet,legs,ability to move freely)

• DNA testing on all bulls to confirm parentage to AI sires

• bottom 150 are castrated and fed out to harvest

• bulls will undergo a final culling evaluation where the final count to 100
